Tackling social housing stigma

Case study
I led the strategic communications and external affairs approach for a research-led campaign tackling stigma in social housing, designed to challenge public perception and amplify tenant voices. From shaping the research narrative and messaging framework through to stakeholder engagement and media strategy, I led the overall direction of the campaign while working closely with my team to deliver integrated communications activity across media, digital and stakeholder channels as well as workshops and representation at seminars.
The campaign combined audience research, lived experience storytelling, thought leadership and integrated communications activity across media, digital and stakeholder channels. This included securing national opinion coverage in The Big Issue, Inside Housing, BBC and local media, positioning the organisation as a leading voice on housing stigma and social impact.
